01New in the role
“I’ve just stepped into product leadership…”
- “Where do I even start?”
- “How do I earn the trust of stakeholders who were here before me?”
- “What do we build first — and what do we stop?”
Product leader coaching & advisoryProduct leaders
I help product leaders, product managers and product owners decide what’s worth building — and bring stakeholders and teams with them, without formal authority.
Where you are
01New in the role
02Leading it and stretched
Some product leaders say yes to everything. Some stop saying anything. Either way, you can start here.
The questions on your desk
Product leaders sit between strategy, technology and people — often without a single direct report. Frameworks tell you how to prioritise. They don’t tell you how to get five teams and ten stakeholders to agree.
Everyone has a priority. Who decides — and how do you say no without losing them?
Too many ideas, not enough capacity. What matters most — and what can wait?
Build it, buy it or partner? A decision you’ll live with for years.
What worked for one team breaks at ten. How do you grow it without slowing everyone down?
The teams don’t report to you. They still need to move with you.
What I help you withDeciding what matters — and bringing people with you without the title.
Let’s Talk Two ways to work →The real cost
The roadmap keeps moving whether or not you’re steering it. Here is what waiting usually costs.
The team builds what’s loudest, not what matters — and the market moves on.
Stakeholders start going around you, not through you.
Every team builds its own version. Complexity — and cost — keeps growing.
You become the bottleneck — holding everything together, and running out of energy to lead.
How I help
Both work whether you’re new in the role or have led product for years. You choose the way that fits.
Advisory
Bring the decision on your desk — the roadmap call, the build-or-buy question, the stakeholder standoff. I tell you what I would do — and what you should do next. Quick and direct.
Coaching
We look at how you show up with stakeholders and teams. We find what hasn’t worked — and why it keeps repeating. Leading without authority starts with how you lead yourself.
“Advice tells you what to do. Coaching finds out why you haven’t done it yet.”
How it starts
Tell me what you’re facing. I reply personally within 24 hours.
If it fits, we choose together: coaching or advisory.
One hour. If it works for you, we continue — for example one conversation a month.
What becomes possible
You find your footing — and your voice.
Stakeholders and teams move in one direction.
How I work
Why me
I started as an entrepreneur: I built a business, consulted, and burned out. Then I joined a global Fortune 500 company as a product leader — building digital platforms, scaling them, and today leading 45+ people, product owners among them, to unify three platforms. That work grew into leading transformation, mostly with people who don’t report to me. I know the stakeholder meetings, the trade-offs and the build-or-buy calls from the inside. And since 2022 I’ve been coached, and have coached others.

Questions
Something else on your mind? Get in touch →
Yes. Product owners, product managers and product leaders share the same core challenge: deciding what matters and bringing people with them. We start where you are.
In advisory, you tell me the problem and I tell you what to do. In coaching, I ask you questions so you discover more about yourself — what hasn’t worked, why it keeps repeating, and what you need to do differently.
That’s what the first call is for. If we’re a match, we choose together: coaching or advisory.
Yes — that’s what advisory is for. I’ve built and scaled digital platforms inside a global Fortune 500 company. I’ll tell you what I would do, and why.
Yes. I invoice through my company, so your organisation can pay for the sessions.
No. Everything we discuss is confidential — also from your employer.
I work with you, one to one.
Yes. AI changes what teams can build, and how fast. Deciding what’s worth building — and bringing people with you — is still human work.
One hour. Face to face in Veenendaal, or online by video call.
For coaching, plan at least three sessions — once a month or every two weeks. Advisory works per session, whenever you have a decision to make.
No. Start with one session. If it works for you, we continue — and you can stop whenever you want.
No. Coaching focuses on discovering your blind spots, getting into action and moving forward. If you’re dealing with other issues, always talk to a therapist.
