This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, how long it is kept, who else processes it, and what your rights are. It covers amanjhamid.com and the enquiry forms on it.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is eSavvy BV, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 78496705, in the Netherlands. Amanj Hamid runs this website and its coaching, advisory and speaking work through eSavvy BV. In this policy, “I” and “me” mean Amanj Hamid on behalf of eSavvy BV.
For any question or request about your data, use the contact form and mention “privacy”. I answer personally.
What the forms collect, and why
The forms ask only for what I need to answer you:
- Contact and service enquiries (contact page, audience pages, Advisory, Executive Coaching): first name, last name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), company (optional), your role or interest where the form asks for it, and your message.
- Speaking enquiries: name, organisation, email address, event type, format, event date, audience size and the details of your event.
- DARE Table applications: name, company or organisation, role, team size, email address and what you are navigating right now.
Each form also sends, in hidden fields, how you first arrived on the site during that visit (for example a LinkedIn post or a search engine, including any campaign tags in the link) and the page you landed on. This helps me understand which channels bring enquiries, also when you have declined analytics cookies. It is kept in your browser’s session storage only until you close the tab.
Purpose and legal basis. I use this information to answer your enquiry, discuss working together and prepare a proposal or agreement. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running my business (article 6(1)(f)).
Where it goes. Form submissions are not stored in a database on this website. They are sent by email to my mailbox, and you receive an automatic confirmation by email.
How long I keep it
- Enquiry emails: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- When we work together: for the duration of the work, and invoices and the records behind them for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.
- Analytics data: Google Analytics keeps event data for 14 months.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, after which the site asks again.
Spam protection and security
To keep the forms free of spam, the website briefly holds your IP address in memory to limit the number of messages from one address (at most five per ten minutes); it is not written to a database or a log. A short-lived token checks that a form was not filled in by a bot. Cloudflare protects the site against attacks and may show a short check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the forms. The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies are needed for the site to work and are always on. Everything else is your choice, made in the cookie banner, and nothing is pre-selected. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
| Category | Name and provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | consent (this site) | Remembers your cookie choice. | 12 months |
| Essential | traffic-source (this site, session storage) | Remembers how you arrived, for the hidden fields in the forms. | Until you close the tab |
| Analytics | _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics) | Counts visits and which pages and buttons are used, to improve the site. | Up to 2 years |
| Experience | _cs_id, _cs_s (ContentSquare) | Shows how visitors move through and scroll the pages, without names. | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory (LinkedIn) | Shows me, in groups of at least 300 people, which companies and roles visit, and measures what LinkedIn posts bring to the site. | Up to 1 year |
Google Analytics without cookies. This site uses Google Consent Mode. If you do not accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets no cookies, but the site still sends limited, cookieless signals about the visit (such as the page, the time and the type of browser). Google uses them, in aggregate, to estimate the number of visits and enquiries; they are not linked to a profile of you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used; you can object through the contact form or by blocking scripts in your browser.
The analytics, experience and marketing cookies are used on the basis of your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
Who else processes your data
I use these service providers. Each processes data only to provide its service, under a data processing agreement or its standard terms.
- Railway: hosts the website (servers in the European Union).
- Cloudflare: domain name system, security and protection against attacks; Cloudflare Turnstile spam check on the forms where shown.
- Resend: sends the form emails (the notification to me and your confirmation).
- Cloud86: hosts my email mailbox (the Netherlands).
- Google (Google Analytics 4): website statistics.
- ContentSquare: how visitors use the pages, only with your consent.
- LinkedIn (Insight Tag): visitor groups and post results, only with your consent.
- Calendly: only if I personally send you a link to schedule a call; it is not used on this website.
Some of these providers are based in, or use sub-processors in, the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
I do not sell your data, use it for automated decisions about you, or share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- see the personal data I hold about you;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- restrict or object to how I use it;
- receive it in a common format (data portability);
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before.
To use any of these rights, send a message through the contact form. I answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, theAutoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes to this policy
When the website or the services it uses change, I update this page and the date at the top.
